UK Habitat Classification– Training Webinar for Practitioners
Tuesday 19th – Wednesday 20th May, 2020 (mornings)
A two-session training webinar for practitioners, covering survey preparation and use of the primary habitat hierarchy, secondary codes, mapping protocols and field key.
Designed for ecologists with an understanding of vegetation survey methods and existing UK habitat classifications..
Learning outcomes will include:
- Knowledge of UKHab Structure.
- Habitat survey methodology,
- Understanding how to use the field key
- Awareness of typical applications of UKHab in ecological practice.
The course will be led by on behalf of the UKHab Working Group by Bill Butcher, lead author of the classification.
Course fee £100 exc VAT. Payment is required with booking. The maximum delegate number will be 12. Places are offered on a first-booked basis and subsequent enquirers will be placed on a waiting list.
